Silage is an option to obtain forage during periods of reduced grass growth and quality. The forage grass is chopped into 5 cm and then mixed well with the agonist (50-200 g/T). The moisture content is adjusted to 55-65%. The mixture is compressed in the plastic silo. The silo is then sealed to make an anaerobic condition and store at ambient temperature.
